Portfolio Category

The Portfolio Category widget allows you to display portfolio categories in a customizable grid or slider layout using Elementor. Each category can include an image, title, and optional description, helping visitors quickly navigate to different sections of your portfolio.

This widget is useful for organizing portfolio projects by category and presenting them visually with custom layouts, image styles, and optional slider functionality.

Widget Controls

The widget settings are divided into several sections inside the Content tab in Elementor

1. General Section

• Extra Class: Add a custom CSS class for additional styling or advanced customization.

2. Query Section

• Post Per Page: Controls how many portfolio items are displayed per page.
• Categories: Select categories to include in the portfolio masonry.
• Exclude Categories: Select categories that should not appear in the portfolio masonry.
• Order By: Sort portfolio items by ID, title, date, or other available options.
• Order: Choose ascending or descending order.

3. Layout Section

• Post Columns: Select the number of columns for the portfolio masonry.
• Category Items: Drag and Drop layout builder to show/hide and reorder the category items.

4. Image Section

• Thumbnail: Choose the image size used for portfolio thumbnails.

5. Slider Section

• Slides per View: Define the number of portfolio items displayed at once in the slider.
• Enable Scroll: Enable or disable the scroll effect.
• Enable Loop: Enable continuous looping of slider items.
• Space Between Slides: Set the space between slides.
• Center Slides: Enable or disable centering of slides.
• Autoplay: Enable or disable automatic sliding.
• Autoplay Speed: Set the delay between automatic slide transitions.
• Enable Navigation Arrows: Enable or disable previous and next navigation arrows.
• Enable Pagination: Enable pagination dots below the slider.

All elements of the Portfolio Category widget can be customized using Elementor’s Style tab.
